The PACS system for the management of patient image data at clinics and hospitals enables you to make digitally generated image data available directly and immediately in high quality in several places at the same time. Especially sensitive areas such as operating theatres require special solutions in this regard.

The S-CAPE®/PLANILUX® image viewing system is a novel combination of conventional and digital image viewing. It allows the introduction of high IT performance into sensitive areas of medicine.

Because of the small front-to-back installation size an easy substitution of S-CAPE®/PLANILUX® devices with analogue image viewers which may already be in place is generally possible.

Not only does this system provide substantial cost benefits, but thanks to being fully integrated into the wall it offers a room-saving way of modernising an operating theatre.

The system corresponds to the DICOM standard and is compatible to all PACS-systems. Furthermore it corresponds to the norms of the "Medizinproduktegesetz (MPG)".

A ergonomic and fully cleanable medical keyboard as well as a USB 2,0 connection for external data exchange supplements the functionality of the S-CAPE®/PLANILUX® medical multiconsole.

The S-CAPE®/PLANILUX® systems correspond also to the norms DIN EN 60601-1, DIN EN 60601-1-1, DIN EN 60601-1-2 and were produced in conformity with the norm DIN EN ISO 9001.
